An assessment will be conducted on the 7th week for instructors to evaluate students' level, qualifiers will be able to proceed to performance training.
For intermediate levels or above.
Applicants must submit an audition video for instructors to assess their level.

AT THE MILLS
The Mills in Tsuen Wan is a Heritage Conservation Project of the Former Cotton Spinning Mills of Nan Fung Textile. Inspired by its vision of interweaving different voices, disciplines and practice, Hong Kong Circus will create a CIRCUS PERFORMANCE in the Hall of CHAT, The Mills.

In the application, you are required to submit a video. The video format varies for the Trainee and the Experienced Course. Please refer the guidelines below:
About the Assessment Video
For Trainee Course Applicants:
1) An introductory video about yourself (<1 min)
Let us know who you are! E.g. Why you want to join this course? Why do you choose aerial silks? What do you expect from the course? Or you can even tell us about your life experiences ;-)
For Experienced Course Applicants:
1) An introductory video about yourself and your aerial
experience (< 1 min)
E.g. How long have you been doing aerial? What other related experiences do you have? Feel free to share some of your fun practice incidences ;)
2) Provide an Aerial Silk training video that showcases your style!
Other than showcasing skills and techniques, feel free to be creative!
Submission Reminders:
- The videos should contain NO EDITS/ should be taken by one take. This showcases your true personality! Don't worry if there are pauses/ thinking time, it is understandable :)

We don't prefer taking a large number of videos and choosing the best one. Try limiting the number of takes :)

The video submitted should be in a readable format. The size limit is 1GB on the application form, if the resolution is limited, please do not hesitate to send it to us via WhatsApp/ email / download link.

Assessment: Video will be judged by Routine, Showmanship, Musicality
course fee
Trainee Course (24 weeks): $450 per class (2 hours)
Experienced Course (18 weeks): $550 per class (2 hours)

Payment can be processed by bank transfer / cheque

You will receive a confirmation from HKC once course fee is received.

Course fee can not be refunded unless in exceptional circumstances, where prove is required.
Important information

Attend class on time- the warm-up session is very important for circus training.

Full attendance is strongly encouraged to make good use of the training course. If there are dates that you cannot attend, please inform Hong Kong Circus in prior.

Please be considerate of the venue and equipment. When attending class, wear appropriate sports clothing and remove accessories (e.g. earrings) to prevent damaging the equipment.

Students must listen carefully and follow the instructions given by the instructors

Hong Kong Circus is not liable for any injury or loss of anyone resulting from any forms of participation in the classes organized by Hong Kong Circus.

Hong Kong Circus have the right to terminate class participation for practitioners who violates the regulations mentioned above, no refund will be made.
